Bayswater Level Crossing Removal

One of the early projects for the Level Crossing Removal Authority was the Award winning Bayswater project being delivered by a partnership between Fulton Hogan and Laing O’Rourke. With innovation in design the project reduced the earthmoving works required by thousands of tonnes and water usage by millions of litres. Further, the project set new standards of engagement with the community and social procurement.
Again, Yarra View & Bushland Flora was engaged very early to confirm capacity and capability and from there the Bayswater team took the courageous step to engage Yarra View & Bushland Flora Nursery for the supply of over 60,000 plants and trees for the project. We have not looked back other than to be grateful for the confidence and leadership shown by the Bayswater team.
2 years on since completion the project looks amazing.
